Medart Engine is a distribution company that represents more than 80 manufacturers in the outdoor power equipment, rental, and industrial industries. Medart is developing a facility in Albertville, Minnesota, to enhance their distribution capabilities.
Insulated wall panels were specified for this project because they are a durable solution for industrial environments. They are resistant to fire, weather, and corrosion and require minimal maintenance. Prestressed wall panels have a high cement content and a low water-cement ratio, allowing for thorough compaction, which produces dense, highly durable concrete.
Prestressed wall panels also offer the advantage of arriving on-site ready for installation, which can shorten construction schedules. Additionally, they provide outstanding energy efficiency because edge-to-edge insulation is enclosed in the wall, reducing heating and cooling costs.
