Insulated Wall Panels and Hollowcore Specified for Efficient Installation Process
Doran Companies is developing a multifamily complex with 197 units. The new complex will offer apartments ranging from alcoves to three-bedroom units, providing amenities such as a fitness space, coworking lounge, and an entertainment lounge. It will also feature a walking trail surrounded by a wetland and pond.
The project's complexity and inclement weather conditions presented challenges in meeting the deadline. Project leaders specified County Prestress & Precast’s Insulated Wall Panels and Hollowcore because they are delivered on-site ready for installation. The wall panels were manufactured using a formliner to achieve the appearance of brick. They also offer quick and efficient installation compared to traditional masonry.
County Prestress & Precast provided more than 27,000 SF of insulated wall panels and 100,000 SF of hollowcore planks for this project. Despite the challenging rainy conditions, the erectors successfully installed both the prestressed wall panels and planks to meet the construction schedule.
