County Prestress & Precast manufactured and delivered 201 hollowcore planks, 27 beams, 30 columns, and an elevator shaft for this project. Project leaders were impressed with precast concrete’s ability to accelerate construction timelines. Precast shafts can be installed in one day, as compared to an average of four weeks for a traditional elevator shaft. They earn fire ratings of up to three hours and resist natural and manmade disasters.
