RiZE at Opus Park is a six-story, 322-unit multi-family housing complex that is part of one of the largest housing projects in the Minneapolis – Saint Paul metro. The residential structure rests on a two-story parking garage foundation, built with prestressed hollowcore. Hollowcore was specified for its structural capabilities and prolonged service life that will keep residents safe for many years to come. In total, more than 191,000 SF of hollowcore planks, 730 SF of solid slabs, and 10,150 LF of beams and columns were used to construct the complex’s foundation.
