The City of Kenosha’s growing population and recent downtown redevelopment prompted the construction of a five-story parking structure, intended to reduce congestion and improve parking for residents. Precast, prestressed concrete was specified for its resiliency and design flexibility. The structure comprises of 151,700 SF of prestressed concrete. County Prestress manufactured 615 architectural and structural concrete components, including prestressed concrete double tees, wall panels, spandrels, infills, columns, and beams, and supplied precast concrete steps.
