About 20 engineers from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation toured County Prestress & Precast's Janesville, Wisconsin, facility to get a firsthand look at prestressed bridge girder production. Officials from the Federal Highway Administration and Joe Lombard, Executive Director of Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute of Illinois and Wisconsin also joined the tour. County Prestress & Precast's team members discussed the reliability of prestressed concrete bridge girders and why they are specified to build safer, longer-lasting structures.
