Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Mentoring relationships help children and teens achieve higher aspirations, greater confidence, and better relationships. Young people involved in these programs are also more likely to avoid risky behaviors and to achieve educational success. Big Brothers Big Sisters is America’s largest donor-and-volunteer-supported mentoring network and strives to foster positive relationships that have a lasting effect on the lives of young people.
County Prestress & Precast serves as an Igniting Potential Sponsor of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana’s Big Futures Career and College Readiness program. This program supports, coaches, and provides resources for matches as the “Littles” enter high school and work toward graduation. Big Futures offers opportunities that focus on the school-to-workforce pipeline, helping students develop skills, explore career paths, and make important decisions.
