County Prestress & Precast manufactured and delivered 28 prestressed concrete girders for the Eisenhower Bridge of Valor replacement project in Red Wing, MN. Each girder was produced in Janesville, WI and measures 175 feet-long, 82 inches-tall, and weighs 202,000 pounds. At the time of production, these were the largest concrete girders in Wisconsin. Prestress girders were specified for their long-lasting strength and low life cycle costs. The new Eisenhower Bridge of Valor opened to traffic in late 2019.
