As St. Louis, Missouri continues to grow, increased traffic demands on aging infrastructure prompted the Missouri Department of Transportation to set its sights on reconstructing the essential I-44 Meramec River Bridge and its adjacent corridor that connects several neighboring communities. The expansive three-year project will improve future traffic flow and further reduce the risk of accidents.
