Leading Local Communities to Feed the Hungry

Jul 23, 2024

Dare to Care Food Bank collects food from donors and food drives and distributes a to people experiencing hunger in Kentucky and Indiana communities. Motivated by the tragic story of a nine-year-old-boy who died of malnutrition in his home in 1969, the organization leads local communities to feed the hungry and conquer the cycle of need. Their goal is that no one in the greater Louisville area lacks enough food to live an active, healthy lite. Dare to Care also operates several programs that target the populations most vulnerable to hunger.

County Prestress & Precast supports the Dare to Care Food Bank to help them achieve their goals. We support local organizations and causes through the Sonnentag American Foundation, emphasizing four key service areas: Hunger and Homelessness Support, Veteran and Service Member Support, Sexual Abuse and Domestic Assault Services, and Mentoring and Skills Building.
