Helping Teens Overcome Challenges with Heart Haven OutReach

Jun 7, 2024

Heart Haven OutReach, also known as H2O, serves Illinois teens in Bolingbrook and Romeoville area schools who are experiencing challenging times. The organization believes healthy development is both balanced and multidimensional, including physical, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual components.

County Prestress & Precast is proud to partner with H2O in their mission to transform lives through caring relationships and programs. H2O offers one-on-one mentoring, tutoring, support groups, life skills training, leadership training, and community service opportunities. Middle and high school students can participate in field trips, in-school groups, and summer activities.

One of the programs the organization hosts is called Operation Snowball, an international youth program that empowers student leaders through prevention education, community advocacy, and leadership development to create a positive impact. Much more than a drug and alcohol prevention group, the organization provides leadership training and opportunities to help prepare teens for college and beyond.

County Prestress & Precast, through the Sonnentag American Foundation, targets support to local nonprofits and causes. We partner with organizations that support individuals in four key service areas: Hunger & Homelessness Support, Service Members & Veterans Support, Sexual Abuse & Domestic Assault Services, and Mentoring & Skills Building.
