County Prestress & Precast partners with Community Action to reduce and prevent poverty in Wisconsin’s Rock and Walworth Counties. Community Action provides access and opportunity through innovative resources that eliminate barriers and establish clear pathways out of poverty, such as childcare, underserved youth programs, emergency food assistance, and affordable housing services. Community Action helps students succeed in the Beloit Fresh Start YouthBuild AmeriCorps program, which co-enrolls students who dropped out of high school with the Beloit School District and teaches them construction skills in addition to their academic work. Participants learn how to help themselves and find purpose in helping others in the community.
Through the Sonnentag American Foundation, County Prestress & Precast supports dozens of worthy organizations and causes in four key service areas, including Hunger & Homelessness Support, Service Member & Veteran Support, Sexual Abuse & Domestic Assault Services, and Mentoring & Skills Building.
