Building Healthier Communities Through Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin

Jun 26, 2025

As the state’s largest hunger relief organization, Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin is dedicated to ending hunger and building healthier communities across 35 counties. Through the support of generous donors, dedicated volunteers, local pantries, and food suppliers, the organization delivers nutritious food and essential resources to children, families, and seniors throughout Wisconsin.

County Prestress & Precast partners with Feeding America to support their mission of feeding those in need. One initiative is the Tribal Elder Food Box program, which aims to restore indigenous foodways and improve access to culturally relevant foods for Native American communities. This crop-to-table effort sources food directly from indigenous producers who grow crops unique to their tribe’s geography. In 2024 alone, more than 31,000 Tribal Elder Food Boxes were packed and delivered to all 11 federally recognized tribes in Wisconsin, including urban elders living in the City of Milwaukee.

Through the Sonnentag American Foundation, County Precast & Precast supports worthy organizations like Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin. We provide support in four key service areas: Hunger & Homelessness Support, Service Member & Veteran Support, Sexual Abuse & Domestic Assault Services, and Mentoring & Skills Building.
