County Prestress & Precasts is committed to help build safer communities with long-lasting, sustainable infrastructure. We manufacture prestressed bridge girders and precast bridge systems to protect communities from flooding and prevent the costly damage associated with it.

Prestressed Concrete Bridge Girders
Prestressed concrete girders are high-performance bridge solutions used to meet rigid specifications. State Departments of Transportation rely on County Prestress & Precasts Prestressed Bridge Girders for their high compressive strength and inherent longevity. We manufacture girders in our PCI-certified production facilities and deliver them to meet the demands of aggressive construction schedules.

Seasonal flooding was a recurring issue that stopped traffic on Highway 101’s causeway, between Shakopee and Chanhassen, Minnesota. Spanning just a few feet above the Minnesota River Floodplain, the causeway experienced frequent flooding and road closures lasting up to several weeks. A solution was found in the installation of a 4,226-foot-long bridge, positioned 25 feet above the former causeway. County Prestress & Precasts manufactured and delivered nearly 370 prestressed concrete girders, each spanning 102 feet-long, to meet the project’s tight construction schedule.

ArchCast® Precast Bridge System
Precast bridge systems are cost-effective, aesthetically pleasing bridge solutions that can be used in place of precast box culverts. County Prestress & Precast's ArchCast Precast Bridge System promotes ease and speed of installation and proves as an ideal “do it yourself” project for municipalities.

After a devastating flood hit the City of Waynesville, Missouri, wiping out nearly 100 homes, city officials knew it was time for infrastructure upgrades. Among the projects slated for construction was the replacement of a low water crossing structure on the Roubidoux Creek. An ArchCast Precast Bridge System manufactured by County Prestress & Precast was chosen to replace the structure. The precast bridge system was favored for its straightforward installation that reduced time and labor costs.
