To resolve seasonal flooding, the Minnesota Department of Transportation and regional partners decided to replace a causeway near the Minnesota River with a 24-foot-tall bridge. County Prestress & Precast's Prestressed Bridge Girders were an ideal solution for the superstructure of the 4,226 foot-long bridge. A long service life and simple installation contribute to a reduced life cycle cost, helping transportation agencies maximize taxpayer value. County Prestress & Precast manufactured 369 I-girders for the project, coordinating deliveries at all times of the day to meet the project’s accelerated construction schedule.
