Partnering with Turningpoint to Support Victims of Sexual and Domestic Violence

Written by Admin | Apr 9, 2025

Turningpoint for Victims of Sexual and Domestic Violence began as a crisis line and volunteer-run safe house program. Today, the organization provides shelter, 24-hour crisis counseling, legal assistance, children’s services, violence prevention education, safety planning, support groups, and emergency food and hygiene products.

County Prestress & Precast is proud to support Turningpoint in its mission to provide vital resources and assistance for individuals seeking freedom from domestic and sexual violence. In addition to supporting women and children, the organization works to break the stigma surrounding domestic and sexual violence by extending its services to men—an often underserved group. It’s estimated that 1 in 10 men will experience domestic or sexual abuse in their lifetime.

Through the Sonnentag American Foundation, County Prestress & Precast supports dozens of worthy organizations like Turningpoint in four key service areas: Hunger & Homelessness Support, Service Member & Veteran Support, Sexual Abuse & Domestic Assault Services, and Mentoring & Skills Building.
