Partnering with the Boys & Girls Club of Boone County to Inspire Youth

Written by Admin | Aug 20, 2025

For nearly 75 years, the Boys & Girls Club of Boone County has inspired youth to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. Through educational and recreational programs, the organization helps kids and teens of all circumstances acquire new skills, build self-confidence, and establish meaningful friendships. The club is dedicated to ensuring that an individual's background doesn't limit their access to opportunity.

The County Materials Family of Companies partners with the Boys & Girls Club of Boone County to support 6,000 members between the ages of 5 and 18. The organization offers three pillars of transformative services: academic success, healthy lifestyle, and character and leadership development. One standout initiative is the Torch Club, a program designed to help youth build leadership skills, develop positive character traits, and get involved in community service projects.

Through the Sonnentag American Foundation, the County Materials Family of Companies supports organizations like the Boys & Girls Club in four key service areas: Hunger & Homelessness Support, Service Member & Veteran Support, Sexual Abuse & Domestic Assault Services, and Mentoring & Skills Building.
