Limitless Design with Insulated Wall Panels

Written by Admin | Dec 29, 2023

Insulated wall panels have endless design potential, allowing designers to achieve a high level of detail. Concrete panels blend unmatched durability and thermal advantages with diverse color, form, and texture options.

Color

Intentional color choices in architectural design make an impact. Architects and owners can add color to insulated wall panels on site with a variety of paint and stain options to achieve a desired aesthetic. Alternatively, pigmentation in the concrete mix can be used to add an integral color to one or both of the wall wythes. This method provides a long-lasting finished product with low maintenance requirements.

Finish and Texture

County Prestress & Precast manufactures insulated wall panels with custom formliners to create textures that emulate brick, tile, and natural stone. We use finishing techniques, such as acid etching, sandblasting, and exposed aggregate to produce panels with unique character. Thin brick, tile, and natural stone can also be cast into the panels for additional aesthetic interest.

Project leaders for the Techny Prairie Activity Center in Northbrook, Illinois, took advantage of this aesthetic versatility with custom form liners. The panels feature a striated pattern that complements the other textures of the building and adds visual appeal.

County Prestress & Precast has an AC-Level Architectural Certification. We will work with you to find a style that suits both the structural and aesthetic needs of your project. Contact our Customer Service Team at (708) 562-7700 to use our insulated wall panels for your next design.
