Enhancing Well-Being Through Retired & Senior Volunteers of Rock County

Written by Admin | Jul 17, 2025

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Rock County is devoted to enriching the lives of individuals 55+ and helping them remain independent for as long as possible. RSVP matches senior volunteers with community service opportunities, such as providing rides to medical appointments, grocery stores, and pharmacies.

RSVP collaborates with local school districts to create intergenerational programs that support both youth and elders in the community. For example, senior volunteers offer mentorship and tutoring to elementary students in literacy and math. These programs help our elders form meaningful connections and find a new sense of purpose, while ensuring children have access to educational support.

County Prestress & Precast partners with RSVP to support over 350 Rock County residents in need of transportation assistance. Isolation and loneliness are significant public health concerns that impact the well-being of older adults. RSVP tackles this concern by facilitating meaningful interactions and providing opportunities for seniors to make a positive impact in the community.

Through the Sonnentag American Foundation, County Prestress & Precast supports worthy organizations like Retired and Senior Volunteers of Rock County. We provide support in four key service areas: Hunger & Homelessness Support, Service Member & Veteran Support, Sexual Abuse & Domestic Assault Services, and Mentoring & Skills Building.
