Lockport Love is a nonprofit organization based in Lockport, IL that helps individuals and families facing emergencies and unexpected hardships. Each year, the organization supports 15-20 families during the holiday season and hosts a gift delivery parade, where Santa is escorted by local police, firefighters, and volunteers to spread holiday cheer. With the help of County Prestress, Lockport Love has now extended its services beyond the holiday season to support local families impacted by COVID-19.
County Prestress, through the Sonnentag Foundation, provides the resources needed to strengthen our local communities. Each year, the Sonnentag Foundation supports dozens of worthy organizations and causes in four services areas, including Hunger and Homelessness Support, Military Personnel and Veteran Support, Sexual Abuse and Domestic Assault Services, and Youth Mentoring and Skills Building.
