Faced with an aggressive construction schedule, project managers for the 207-unit Edison Apartments at Woodbury, a high-density housing project in the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metropolitan area, selected County Prestress’ Hollowcore as the project’s podium solution for underground parking. With just 8 days allotted for production and 28 days for installation, County Prestress delivered 86,000 SF of 12-inch depth hollowcore planks and 1,200 SF of 12-inch depth solid slabs to the job site with time to spare.
