After a devastating flood hit the city of Waynesville, MO, wiping out nearly 100 homes, city officials knew it was time to make significant infrastructure upgrades. One of the updates was replacing a Roubidoux Creek dam with a low water crossing structure to decrease the risk of intense flooding. County Prestress & Precast's ArchCast precast bridge system offered the city a durable, long-term solution within its budget. The bridge necessitated 12 28-foot-span by 11-foot-rise ArchCast units to create a two-span bridge, six arches wide within three days.
