For the Osseo Bridge project, our Roberts and Janesville prestress facilities worked together to manufacture 16 prestressed concrete girders to keep the project on schedule. Eight girders were manufactured in Roberts and measured 145 feet long at 146,000 pounds each. The remaining girders were slated for production in Janesville and measured 129 feet long at 130,000 pounds.
With extensive coordination, our highly skilled Heavy Haul Truck Drivers carefully maneuvered tight intersections on the way to the job site. The girders were delivered safely, timely, and installed within one month.
